Obituary

I, Eileen, was born on April 18, 1945 in Racine, Wisconsin. My parents' names were John and Ethel Linders. When I was born, I already had a brother John and two years later, my sister Terri was born. We were all raised in Racine and attended Sacred Heart Grade School and graduated from William Horlick High. On September 11, 1965, I married a wonderful man, Bob Ottosen. On August 23, 1969 our handsome son Rob was born and on January 7, 1971 our beautiful daughter, Wendy, was born. That completed our family. We were married for 31 years when the Lord called him home on October 2, 1996. I could mention all my accomplishments in my life, but my best was the day I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and savior. So many "doors" were open for me; peace, joy, happiness, freedom. On June 28, 2003, I was united in marriage to David DeMain. He survives me. My son, Rob Ottosen survives me as well as my daughter, Wendy Armstrong and son-in-law, Jim Armstrong. I leave behind my adult grandchildren, Erika Ottosen, Nate Atkinson, Nicole Atkinson, Cassandra, Jimmy, Hunter and Elizabeth Armstrong. My parents are both deceased as well as my brother and sister. Also many aunts and uncles have gone before me. My family would like to meet you at Cornerstone Community Church, 711 Fourteenth Street North on July 22 from 3-5 p.m. Service will follow with Pastor Kevin Bishop officiating. My remains will rest next to my husband, Robert Ottosen in Racine in Graceland Cemetery. My family and friends are invited to a graveside service on Friday, July 24th at 11:00am. It has been a good life for me and to all those whom I know, it has been a pleasure knowing you, laughing with you or crying with you. Most of all, it has been a pleasure serving the Lord with you. Online condolences can be made at www.honorone.com Mid Wisconsin Cremation Society is assisting the family at this time.
