Emmet A. Martin passed away on December 30th, 2015. Emmet was born January 15th, 1925 in Chicago, IL, the son of Charles and Margaret Martin. He is survived by his wife Dorothy, his children, Michael (Beth) Martin, John (Sarah) Martin, Margaret Martin, and James Martin. Emmet enjoyed time spent with his five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Emmet served proudly in WWII as an Infantryman in the United States Army. He returned to Chicago and married Dorothy C. Cummings on August 5, 1950. Emmet and his family shared many happy years of camping, downhill skiing, and golfing. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am Wednesday January 6th, 2016 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Wausau with Father Robert Thorn officiating. Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park following the service with full military honors performed by the VFW Post 388.
