Obituary for Ninette Tryba

Ninette D. “Nina” Tryba, age 62, of Wausau, Wisconsin, died on Saturday, July 27th, 2019. Nina was born in Wausau to Angeline and Sam Woytasik on March 24th, 1957. On May 17th, 1986, Nina was married to Wayne Tryba, son of Adeline and Joseph Tryba, and had 33 wonderful years of a happy marriage. Wayne and Nina had known each other since she was 13 and Wayne says that he always had a wonderful time with her during the whole 50 years. On May 24th, 1988, they had their son, Benjamin.

When Nina was young, she loved colorful things and sewing. She would make clothes with fabric combinations that worked out amazingly. When she worked at the local fabric store people knew that she would be the person to help them. Besides sewing, Nina enjoyed many indoor activities such as flower arranging, painting and decorating. She always made her home comfortable and cheery.

Outdoors is where Nina's true passion was. Wayne and her planted many trees on their property. When they first bought their home, she told him that she wanted fruit bearing plants all over. Together they planted apple, pear, cherry, apricot and plum trees. Also, they planted blackberries, raspberries, grapes, gooseberries, blueberries, strawberries and currents. Through their combined efforts they made a small paradise where anyone could walk around and taste fresh fruit all year around.

She was very family oriented and she loved activities that included the whole family. Nina, Wayne and Benjamin spent many summers out on the water fishing. Throughout the years, the entire family would go to orchards, breweries, air shows and tractor shows. If one member of the family wanted to do something, everyone got together as a family and she was usually the one that planned it all out.

At work, she always had creative ideas and was a natural problem solver. She always worked well with those around her and made friends wherever she went. One of her talents was book keeping. She used this talent to help her stepfather, Alfred Schmidt, her sister, Cynthia Fliss, and one of her lifelong friends, Shirley Graveen, with their businesses. She will be missed by her family, coworkers and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne Tryba; son, Benjamin Tryba; sister, Eileen Farkas; and stepfather, Alfred Schmidt.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Cynthia Fliss.

A memorial for her will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 8th, 2019, at Peaceful Pines Family Sanctuary: 147988 Lois Lane, Mosinee, WI 54455. Marathon County has recently changed their addresses, the former address is 168 Lois Lane Mosinee, WI 54455, which can be used in a GPS unit.
