Arthur W. Hutchison, Sr., "Daddy Hutch", 66, Wausau, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2016, at his home surrounded by his family, under Aspirus Hospice Care. He was born on October 29, 1949 in Merrill to the late Edward and Dorothy (Weber) Hutchison. He married the love of his life Xanea (Gutowski) on August 23, 1968. Together they had four children. Survivors include his loving wife, Xanea Hutchison, Wausau; his children, Arthur (Julie) Hutchison, Jr., Athens; Jessica (Patrick) Wunsch, Merrill; Tammy (Derrick Gowdy) Hutchison, Wausau; and Michael (Xong) Hutchison, Wausau; eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; three sisters, Peggy Taylor, Marshfield; Judy Roberts, Wausau and Jill (Raymond) Zastrow, Mosinee; four brothers, Edward (Sharon) Hutchison, Jr., Texas; Kim (Julie) Hutchison, Weston; Steven Hutchison, Wausau; and Todd (Bonnie) Hutchison, Wausau; and many brother and sister in laws, cousins, nieces and nephews and close friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Dorothy, father and mother in law, Michael and Gladys Gutowski, his brother, Scott Hutchison, sister in law, Annette Plaza; brother in law, Rodney Gutowski, and his nephew Randy Hutchison. Arthur was a very caring husband, father and grandfather. He loved to fish, golf, travel, but mostly he loved to spend time with his family. Arthur was a heart transplant recipient in 1990. Funeral services will be held at John J. Buettgen Funeral Home on Thursday, September 15, 2016. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. Father Robert Schaller will be officiating. John J. Buettgen Funeral Home is assisting the family at this time.
