Barbara Jean Carpenter, 76 of Schofield, passed away at home with her loving family by her side on August 4, 2024. She was born to the late Melvin and Marion (Wendorf) Jacobi on August 23, 1947.

She is survived by her loving husband Lee Carpenter, her beloved daughter Tammy (Jeff) Carrollo, grandchildren Michael (Kelly) Daniels, Kevin (Abby) Daniels, great grandchildren Grace Daniels, Evelyn Daniels, Olivia Daniels, Walter Daniels, Stepson Marcus (Vi) Carpentier, grandchildren Kelly and Julia Carpentier, Stepdaughter Jodi (Dan) Johnson, grandchildren Caty and Sophie Johnson, Sister Nancy (Dennis) Turner and brother-in-law Raymond Stotmeister.

She is preceded in death by her sister Jane Stotmeister and great grandson Elijah Robert Daniels.

Barb worked at Prange's and Younkers for 25 years. She enjoyed getting to know her customers and co-workers. Often people knew her by her loving husband for 42 years waiting for her after work in the middle of the mall with a bouquet of flowers. Her favorites were yellow roses.

Barb loved camping, she and Lee went for 35 years, her favorite place to camp was Mondeaux Dam, in Westboro Wisconsin with the last 3 years having a permanent campsite on Mud Lake in Medford WI. She enjoyed fishing and especially fishing with her daughter to make her put the worms on and take the fish off. She knew that she disliked slimy things!

Barb Loved to spoil her daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Barb was a fashionista, and her granddaughters would always tell her that and now they are fashionistas too!

A special Thank you to Lee for taking care of Barb for over 20+ years and to her daughter Tammy for the loving support and care she gave to Barb right up to the end. The two of them were her angels of love.
