Benjamin Graham Meurette, 34, of Marathon, passed away peacefully the morning of October 15, 2024, while surrounded by his loving family.

Benjamin was born on July 23, 1990, to Mark Senior and Laura (Graham) Meurette, and with his birth, the world became a much brighter place.

Benjamin was a powerful life force, who spread endless joy with his love, light, and contagious laughter. You always knew when Ben entered a room but once he arrived, he spent all his time making everyone else feel alive. He was thoughtful, caring, and made sure the tough times were easier, and the good times were better. Ben was one-of-a-kind and made sure everyone

around him felt not only special, but like the coolest person in the room. A beautiful soul who loved art, music, movies; singing and dancing, any chance he got. A dreamer with a taste for the finer things in life, he sought out the wonders of the world, putting us in the presence of wonder whenever you were with him. Benjamin's unique humor had a way of making people

laugh harder than they ever thought possible. He was warm and kind and always wore the best cologne that made you want to hang on to his hugs. Ben was extremely animated, entertaining and had a shining essence like no one else you have ever met. A person who showered others with love and received even more in return. A poetic man who inspired life. A son, brother,

uncle, nephew, cousin, and a friend who will be missed by all who were blessed to know and love him.

Ben leaves behind his parents, Mark and Laura (Graham) Meurette; siblings, Olivia Meurette, Annastasia (Bryan) Swanson, Mark (Sara) Meurette; nieces, Elena Swanson and Loni Meurette; Aunts/Uncles, Lisa Graham, Tom (Debbie) Graham, Dee Graham, Tammy Meurette, Marsha (Craig Wieman) Meurette and Mitch (Lori) Meurette; Grandmother, Marilyn Graham; Cousins, Eliot Graham, Tim Graham, Casey Graham, Tyler (Torie) Jagler, Jake (Taylor) Meurette, Michelle (Josh) Behr, Chris Filipiak, Beckett Wieman, Carly (Seth) Marco, Becky (Mike) Caron, Rene (Eric) Hinojosa, Lauren Marceille and many, many Friends.

He was preceded in death by his Uncles, Matthew Meurette, Otto (Mike) Meurette, Steve Graham; Grandparents, Kate and Burl Meurette and Roger Graham, Cousin; Joshua Graham.

Visitation will be from 1:30-3:00 pm with a Memorial Service for Ben following at 3:00 pm on Saturday October 26, 2024, at John J Buettgen Funeral Home, 948 Grand Ave, Schofield, WI, 54476. Reverend Samuel C.R. Cripps, Rector will officiate.
