Carol A. Duberstein of Kronenwetter, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2024, at Rennes Health and Rehab Center.

Carol was born on December 29, 1937, to the late Howard and Erna (Winter) Damrow.

She is survived by her loving husband William "Bill" Duberstein, three children, Robin (LouAnn) Vercimak, Karen (Joe) Bittner, Tammi (Shannon) Glatczak, grandchildren; Brad, Josh, Derek, Brooke, Kurt, Jessica, Danika, Ryan, Justin and 11 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and two children James Vercimak and Lori Grohman.

Christmas was Carol's favorite holiday, embracing the holiday spirit, cooking up a feast and sharing it with all her family and especially enjoying all the loving grandchildren. Carol was a crafter and owned and operated House of Ceramics. She enjoyed camping, fishing and being in the great outdoors at her favorite spot on Carol Lake. Some of her other favorite things were playing cards, watching softballs games, but most importantly was spending time with her family. She also had fond memories of the many years she spent traveling with and cooking for the Wausau Story Drum and Bugle Corp. She was known to many as "Ma". She will be greatly missed.

Carol's family would like to extend their gratitude and appreciation to the Rennes staff for the care they provided during the time she spent there.

Services will be held at John J. Buettgen Funeral Home 900 Old Hwy 51, Mosinee on Saturday, March 29, 2025. Visitation will start at 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m.
