Cheryl A. Parker, 60, went home to be with the Lord on July 29, 2020. This beautiful young lady will be remembered as someone who always was willing to help others with her big heart of gold. She is now with our mother celebrating our mother's birthday today.
Cheryl attended Lincoln High School in Milwaukee. After graduating, she went on to Iowa State University and University Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
She was a hard worker. She was known to work several jobs at one time. She was a casino cashier for the Ho Chunk nation in Wittenberg, WI. She retired after 21 years of service with the State of Wisconsin Department of Motor Vehicles. Cheryl was the team leader of the Wausau DMV and also held the position of Union President for the local chapter.
She also worked as a standby snow plow driver for the city if Milwaukee, drove school bus for Ryder Transportation, drove the big trucks for Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, worked as a cashier at the Boston Store just to name a few.
Cheryl is survived by sisters Joy Parker, Milwaukee; Lisa Parker, Chippewa Falls; Marna Parker, Milwaukee; Sandra Humes Benton, Milwaukee; brother Shawn Parker, Weston. Also by 4 nieces, 1 nephew; and many great nieces and nephews.
Services will be held August 14, 2020 at John J. Buettgen Funeral Home in Schofield, WI. Visitation is from 2:30 to 4:30 PM and Service is at 4:30 PM with Father Marion officiating.
