Cindy Lou Waldrop, age 63, of Wausau, WI passed away at home Wednesday October 18, 2023, with her beloved partner Bruce by her side.

Cindy was born on August 7, 1960, to Harold A. and Elaine M. (Hoff) Schade in the city of Wausau. She spent her life battling demons yet still spreading her kindness everywhere she could. Cindy accepted people as they were, flaws and all, as she understood the need for those struggling to have someone on their side. She loved being able to help others as much as she could, even when she had very little to give. Her compassion for people led her to serve as a volunteer often and is instilled in her children and grandchildren.

Cindy had many skills and was full of wisdom and life lessons. Her daughters and grandchildren have benefited from her uniqueness and have continued passing this knowledge on to those around them.

Cindy is lovingly survived by her partner of over 20 years, Bruce Cellarius, as well as cats Precious and Rza; daughters Kristen Waldrop of Wausau, Jennifer (Waldrop) Aarthun and Arick Aarthun of Burnsville, MN, and Lauren Nowak of Madison; her beloved grandchildren Payton, Dakota and Keira; her parents Harold and Elaine Schade; sisters Cheryl and Tina; brother Jim and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Cindy is preceded in death by her beloved sister Paulette, favorite brother Greg and nephew Doug.
