CRETA V. BURHANS, 97, of Stevens Point, formerly of Brule, Wisconsin, was called home by her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on July 27, 2019, at WillowBrook Assisted Living, Stevens Point. Born December 22, 1921, to Clyde and Edna Schermerhorn in Cloverland Township, Brule, Wisc.   She married Leland Burhans on November 1, 1941. Creta worked as an LPN. She enjoyed singing, dancing & traveling, going to Vienna, Austria, with the Northwest WI Community Choir, Mission trips to New York City & Mexico, and across the US with her children to visit family. She is survived by her children: Mrs. William (Virginia) Wiemer, Edward (Terry) Burhans, Mrs. Benny (Alice) Johnson; 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
