Elmer E. Lashua Sr.Born 11-16-1931 In Wausau WI., he passed away on 2-21-19 at the age of 87 at his home surrounded by family.  Elmer is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Beverly Ann (Wesenick) Lashua Weston, WI. Together they have 8 wonderful children.Mary (James) Laska, Lois (Terry) Fronek, Barbara Szutkowski (Ronnie Stankowski), Butch (Debbie) Lashua, Walter (Jean) Lashua, Faydonna (Chris Bernarde) Lashua, Pamela (Tim) Ciszewski and Daniel (Amy Bishop) Lashua Loving, Devoted Grandfather toLeeann, BobbieJo, Anthony, Angel, Neil, Dawn, Kory, Samantha, Mackenzie, Taylor, Amanda, Brenda, Paige, Dennis, Latara, Zachiraih, Cody John, Che-Quess, Autumn & Brock. He also has 26 Great-Grandchildren.  For most of Elmer's life he has resided in the Wausau, Schofield area. He's had many jobs through out his life time. Miller Tire, Lake Wausau Granite Quarry, Salvation Army, and the most resent was Security Guard for Domtar. He retired in 2013 at the age of 82 after 17 years of service. Elmer was a fan of the Packers and Nascar. He also enjoyed going to the races at Rib Mountain Speedway. Most of all he loved going for long drives with his Wife of 63 years, together they would travel the country side going down memory lane. Family was everything to Elmer, the get togethers at his daughter's house with all his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren are what he treasured most. He was loved by many and will be sadly missed.  Elmer is preceded  in death by his Parents Francis and Mabel Lashua, his Father and Mother in-law Sidney and Gertude Wesenick, a granddaughter Destiney, great grandson Marcus and his 13 siblings.  Elmer's request was not to have a funeral but to have a celebration.
