Gerald Vincent McCulloch, age 82, passed away peacefully on October 7th, 2020. Vince (as he was better known) was born June 10th, 1938 in Cloquet, Minnesota. Son of Allen and Margaret McCulloch, he was the second oldest of 6 children. Vince grew up in Ashland, WI and attended Ashland High School. He went on to join the United States Air Force in December of 1960, and was honorably discharged in December of 1966. He earned his Bachelor's degree in 1967 and went on to earn his Master's degree in Secondary Education at UW Superior. Vince married Marie VanOuse on March 2nd, 1985. He held a variety of jobs through the years including working the Ashland Ore Docks, teaching, screen printing and counseling inmates. He also was previously employed by Schwan's, FedEx, and most recently UMS. His favorite hobbies included soaking up the sun, watching Badger games, sightseeing and spending time with his children. Vince will be loved and missed by surviving wife Marie; children: Shannon, Sarah (Bob) Smith, and Casey (Lillie). Siblings: Allen, BJ Gregoire, Margaret Sandberg, Edward Sturgal, David Sturgal.
