James (Jimmy) Anton Johnston 52 of Wausau, WI passed away unexpectedly at home on June 26, 2015.  He was born to Eugene and Barbara (Schmidt) Johnston on November 6, 1963. He is survived by his parents and loving wife Susan (Pahlmeyer) Johnston, his step daughters Kelly (Andy) Altschwager Wellington, CO, Hattie Kane, Madison, WI, two grandsons Cash and Cole Altschwager, three sisters, Debbie (John) Downs Flowermound, TX, Lisa Nieft, Belvidere, IL, and Jeannie (Mike)Berman, Belvidere IL, many nieces, and lifelong best friend Bill McDonagh, Chicago, IL.Jimmy had an overflowing big heart that cared for everyone and a personality that was larger than life. He loved spending time with his family and friends entertaining them with storytelling, jokes, karaoke, quoting just about any movie, as well as working out at multiple gyms, where many people became his extended family. His kind heart, contagious laugh, and smile will never be forgotten.Services will be held at John J. Buettgen Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 with visitation from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM with service to follow at 1:00 PM officiated by Edwin Johnson, Arbor Vitae, WI . John J.
