James J. Kipp, age 67, passed away on May 1, 2021.  Jim was born in Wausau, WI on March 1, 1954, to the late Esther (Hintz) and Harold Kipp. J im attended St. Anne's grade school and graduated from Newman High School, class of 1972.  He received an associate degree from NCTI and his bachelor's degree, majoring in sociology, from Mankato State University.  He excelled in his career as youth counselor at Wales and at Lincoln Hills until his diagnosis with MS.  Jim's vibrant, magnetic, and cheerful personality attracted his many friends.  Jim is predeceased by his parents, an infant brother John, and son Justin. Jim is survived by his brothers Tim (Sandy) Kipp, Tom (Nola) Kipp, son Joel (Lacey) Foster, their two daughters Harper and Quinn, Justin's mother Debbie Jankowski, nephews Nathan (Jean), Bryce (Julie), Ryan (Michelle), Brandon (Karri), great niece Emma, great nephews Anderson, Broderick, Hudson, Wells, Logan, and Aunt Cecilia Hintz, and many friends who will remember Jim with love and affection.  With COVID-19 restrictions, there was no visitation.  A private service for the family is pending.
