Jill K. Cornell, 67, of Schofield, WI, died on January 6th at home surrounded by her husband and 4 children. Jill was born February 14, 1953, born and raised in Waukegan, Ill and was a long-time resident of Schofield, WI. As a registered nurse, Jill dedicated over 35 years of her life to geriatrics care and support. Jill enjoyed knitting, swimming, gardening, her dogs, and spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Jill is survived by her mother Joan (Crawford) Johnson, husband William of 44 years, sister Judy Richardt (Joe), brother Jeff Johnson (Earleen), daughters Kelly (Jay Cervantes), Kerilyn (Brandt Newman), Megan and son Michael (Emily), 6 grandchildren: Katherine, William, Charlotte, and Jackson Cornell; Renfield Cervantes; Natalie Newman. Jill was preceded in death by her father Glen Johnson, and sister Jan Johnson. Mid Wisconsin Cremation Society is assisting the family, and a private celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
