John William Kekke passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at Ministry St. Clare's Hospital, Weston, Wednesday, April 8, 2015.  He was born July 26, 1949 in Ontonagon, MI to the late Theodore and Tynne (Routanen) Kekke.John was a member of the US Army and proudly served his county in Vietnam.  He worked for a number of years at White Pine Copper Company and moved his family to Phoenix, AZ in 1976.  While in Phoenix he worked for Shasta Beverages.  In 2004, John moved to Weston, WI and worked in the security field.John is survived by his beloved son, Jason and grandson Jamie.  John is further survived by his brother Denny (Linda) Kekke, Ontonagon MI; sisters, Gloria (Cliff) Guilbault, Wausau; Joan (Gary) White, Weston. And numerous nieces and nephews and many friends he made on his path through life.John was passionate about his family and friends, music, Harley Davidson, being on his computer sharing the joke of the day and the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers.  John left us too soon and his generosity, smile and unique sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him.He joins his parents; sister, Judy Kekke, and his much loved dog Alamo.A service will be held in June 2015 at the Central Wisconsin Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in King, WI.  On-line condolences can be made at www.HonorOne.com
