John J.Lucas Jr, 78, of Marshfield, entered eternal life on Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at the House Of the Dove. John was born November 5,1940, in Wood County, the son of the late John and Ferne (Dahlke) Lucas Sr. He grew up on the family farm and attended rural schools in the township of Lincoln. John had many employment adventures until he found his calling with his own business Lucas Enterprises, where he was self-employed until he retired around 2005. He enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening, riding his many Harleys, fishing at the family cabin and hunting. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his girls. John was married to Kristine (Lutz) Lucas in February of 1985. He is survived buy his loving wife and daughters, Tiffney and Kindra Lucas; also one sister, Jean (Jim) Fleming; and two brothers, Victor (Sally)Lucas and Rich Lucas. He was preceded in death by one sister, Betty (Ronald) Ystad; and two sons, Michael and David. John's family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Ministry Hospice Care team, House of the Dove and Atrium Post Acute Care of Wisconsin Rapids for the loving care he received.  Memorial services will be held in spring of 2019, date to be announced.
