Josephine, 85, Wausau, passed away on Monday, October 28th, 2019 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital peacefully surrounded by loving family.Josephine (Jo) was born to the late Josephine and Orban Opichka on  February 7, 1934. On February 3, 1951 she married Harold (Pops) Williams in Wausau, WI. Togherther they were married for 60 years at Harolds time of passing. In 1979 at the age of 45 Jo went back to school and received her high school diploma along with an Associates Degree in Accounting. She enjoyed reading, baking, watching the packers and her trips to the casino. She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was employed at Goodwill and other various places before retiring from the Women's Community. Survivors include 8 children: JoAnn (Robert) VanSleet, Gary (Rebecca) Williams, Sandra (Geoff) Groshek, Keith (Christine) Williams, Donald (Beth) Williams, Thomas Williams, Ann (Steve) Osborne, and Patrick Williams. She is also survived by 4 siblings: Kenneth (Helen) Opichka, Elmer (Hannelorie) Opichka, William (Joyce) Opichka and Germaine (Lyn) Heise. Josephine also had 26 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and 1 great, great grandchild. She was preceded in death by husband Harold and Sister Sally (Ken) Voigt. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at St. Michaels Catholic Church, Wausau from 9:00 am until time of Mass at 10:30 with Rev. Mark Pierce officiating.
