Laura E. Hensley 48, passed away on April 22, 2016. She was born on April 18, 1968 to William and Ruth (Ducharme) Wootan in Mississippi. She served proudly in the United States Navy for eight years. She married John Hensley on May 29, 2010 in Benton, MO. She loved spending time in the outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening and most of all spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her husband John, mother Ruth, three children; Joshua Roop, Heather and Amanda Wigstrom all of Wis. Rapids. Two sisters; Darlene (Bobby) Landry, New Orleans and Jean Jordan, New Orleans. She is preceded in death by her father William. A celebration of life will be held on April 26, 2016 at Higgins Funeral Home from 3:00-6:00 p.m. with the American Legion Post 9 performing military honors at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family.
