Obituary

Margaret Katherine Sahr Juedes

November 3, 1918 ~ February 26, 2024

Our dearest Margaret went to her final rest on February 26, 2024.

She was a strong and determined woman who truly loved the simple things in life, (along with an occasional trip to the casino.)

She loved her family, her home and her garden. Anyone who met her loved her and was drawn to her sweet nature and company.

Margaret was born near Tomahawk, Wisconsin to Mathias Sahr and Clara Klapperick Sahr. As a young adult she worked at Marathon Electric for 12 years. In 1947 she married Edwin Juedes and settled in Rothschild where they raised their three children. Once the children were in school, she took a job in the Schofield Elementary cafeteria and enjoyed both the work and the many friends she made there. When Ed retired, she gave up her job so they could spend many good times together at their cabin near Minocqua.

Margaret was tragically preceded in death by her eldest son, Ken Juedes in 2006. She then lost her beloved Ed in 2007. She was the last to survive her seven siblings: Sr. Laura Mathias (Sahr), Katherine Sahr Jax, Florentia Sahr Richards, Leona Sahr Springer, Albert Sahr, Leon Sahr and John Sahr.

Margaret is survived by son Don Juedes Allen (Stephanie), their two children, Katie Allen Kemper (Luke) their children Milan, Cruz and Skyler and son Matthew Allen. She is also survived by daughter Laurie Juedes, her daughters Corinne Aliaga (Tomas) and their daughter Eva, Laurie's other two daughters Adrienne Renee and Julienne Renee, daughter-in-law Betty Tabaka Juedes also survives with her 4 children Aaron, Noah, Anna and Alex.

Margarets family is most grateful also for the many nieces, nephews, and friends who lovingly visited often and brought her joy and comfort especially in these last years. She will remain in our hearts always as the loving and beautiful woman that she was. There are no words to express how will miss her.

Funeral services will be held at St. Mark Catholic Church, Rothschild on Thursday, February 29 with a visitation from 10:30 a.m. until the time of Mass of Christian burial at 11:30 a.m. officiated by Father Eric Mashak. Burial will be at 2:15 p.m. at Restlawn Cemetery.
