Michael J. Fontaine 66 passed away after a long battle with cancer on March 8, 2019. He was born on April 23, 1952 in Minnesota. Michael went from farm life to truck driving life. Thru the years and the many miles driven, he cherished the company of his pets as he crossed the nation. Michael truly enjoyed his driving career, his craftsmanship with wood and spending time with his beloved Eddie-his cat.  Although Michael lost his fight with cancer, he was a survivor in many ways. Life threw many difficult challenges towards his life. With the guidance of GOD and close friends, he repeatedly persevered. Never forgetting the acts of kindness that he had received, Mike continuously supported the less fortunate. With that in mind... in lieu of flowers, it would please Mike, if an act of kindness would be provided by you to someone in need. Please, keep the kindness going.
