Nancy Ann
Wolfe
Jul 24, 1935 — Apr 12, 2025
In Loving Memory of Nancy Anne Wolfe
July 24, 1935 - April 12, 2025
Nancy Anne Wolfe, age 89, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2025, at Pride TLC in Weston, Wisconsin.
A devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, Nancy lived a life rich in family, music, travel, and the simple joys of nature.
Born and raised in Wisconsin, Nancy spent many wonderful years with her beloved husband of 39 years, Maurice Wolfe, Sr., who preceded her in death. Together, they raised five children and created a lifetime of memories, especially at their cherished cabin retreats on Sunday Lake and, later, East Horsehead Lake.
Nancy had a passion for fishing, crossword puzzles, reading, and never turned down a good game of Scrabble. Her love for old country music--the voices of Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, and Patsy Cline--often filled her home, and she shared her own voice as a proud member of the St. Therese Church choir. She also had a soft spot for nickel slots, the Green Bay Packers, and tuning in to Brewers games on the radio.
Outside of the home, Nancy worked many years at Melron Corporation and gave back to her community by volunteering at Kennedy Rehabilitation in Weston.
She had a spirit of adventure, traveling to destinations as far as Russia, adding a worldly sparkle to a life otherwise grounded in faith, family, and her hobbies.
Nancy is survived by her five children: Joan (Pat) Sharkey of Mosinee, Maurice Jr. (Janine) Wolfe of Rib Mountain, Judy Wolfe of Schofield, Arlen Wolfe of Weston, and Jane (Dave) Dailey of Stevens Point. She was blessed with six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Countless memories will be treasured by all who knew her.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the compassionate teams at Pride TLC, Saint Croix Hospice, and to Noel Gordon, APNP, for her caring visits.
Visitation will be held at John J. Buettgen Funeral Home, 948 Grand Ave, Schofield, on Thursday, April 17, from 9:00-11:00 AM, followed by a prayer service.
Nancy will be laid to rest at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Kronenwetter. A lunch will follow the graveside service at Buettgen Funeral Home.
Nancy's life was a song--full of harmony, love, and quiet strength--and her memory will echo in the hearts of all who knew her.
