Obituary

Orman Kurth, 93, passed away peacefully on Monday, Dec. 7th at Clover Leaf Terrace in Birnamwood under the care of Hospice.  He was born Dec. 3rd, 1927, a son of the late August and Josephine Kurth. He married Audrey Kurth on May 12th, 1973, at Redeemer Lutheran Church.  Orman served in the U.S. Army from 1950 to 1952, he bravely fought in the Korean War. Orman was very happy to have gotten the opportunity to go on the Honor Flight September of 2015.  Orman had several jobs over the years but the most memorable will be dairy farming. He farmed in the Town of Plover with his late wife, Audrey, from 1974 to 1997.  Orman was the nicest man you could ever have the pleasure knowing. He spent alot of time with his grandchildren who he loved dearly. He also loved telling stories from his younger years and was always joking around . He was very good at making people laugh.  Survivors include two grandchildren, Orman (Jamie) Boggs and Jason (Wanda) Parker. 13 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Brother William Kurth, Orville (Donna) Kurth, August (Pat) Kurth, and Donald Kurth. Sisters Shirley Schneider and Bonnie Strehlow.  Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by, brothers Henry and David Kurth, and sisters Joan Wolfe, Ruth Andreas, Erna Kersten, Alice McDonald, Adelaide Kurth, Esther Kurth, and Edna Roble.  Due to the pandemic, there will be a celebration of Orman's life at a later date. Family would like to thank Clover Leaf Terrace and Aspirus Hospice for the care our Grandfather received.
