Paulette Wadzinski, 65, Wausau, passed away on February 7, 2016 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born on May 26, 1950 to the late Wilbert and Valeria (Radtke) Mesalk.
She is survived by her loving husband George Wadzinski, Wausau; her son Craig (Diane) Wadzinski, Madison; her daughters Heidi (Luke) Vanderbloemen, Naperville, IL; and Holli (Jon) Hoeffler, Muskego; her brothers Tom (Kathy) Mesalk, Cedarberg; and Tim (Donna) Mesalk, Wausau; her sisters Jackie Boucher, Green Bay; Wendy (Dale) Waraksa, Wausau; Jolene (Dave) VanPortfliet, Hatley; her brother-in-law, Matt Wesenick, Weston; and her grandchildren Ben and Emily Wadzinski; Julie and Mark Vanderbloemen; Carter, Teagan and Delaney Hoeffler.
Paulette could always be found in her or her children's flower gardens, as it truly was her passion. She enjoyed traveling to visit her grandchildren and to different parts of the United States. She had a talent for making dresses and mending anything from simple holes to broken zippers. Paulette was very caring, always worried about others first, not wanting anyone to make a fuss about her. She also was full of spunk, sassiness and never sat still. She retired from Liberty Mutual Insurance two years ago after working there for forty years.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at John J. Buettgen Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be Pastor Craig Swenson.
