Ronald "Ronnie" Frank Sulzer, 69, Wausau, passed away Saturday April 5, 2025. Ron died peacefully at Aspirus Wausau Hospital surrounded by his family.
He was born July 27th, 1955, son of late Alfred & Ann (Hafenbreadl) Sulzer.
Ron graduated from Marathon High School in 1973. He married Judy Rothenberger in 1974 and had an 11-year marriage.
He remarried in 1988 to Mary Socha and had a 10-year marriage.
Ron had various factory jobs when he was a younger adult but was a Carpenter for the majority of his adult life until he became disabled.
Ronnie enjoyed doing anything to get a good laugh out of someone, small game hunting, fishing, coin and stamp collecting, wood working, camping and spending time with his family and friends, along with a cold alcoholic beverage.
Survivors include daughter, Sheri Lawrence; two sons, Mike Sulzer (Veronica Latzig), Butch (Liz) Sulzer; and daughter, Heather Sulzer (Jared Clairmore); two grandchildren; Hailey and Brandon Lawrence. A brother Chuck (Kacyee Marks) Sulzer; sisters; Janet Pecher, Karen Klein, Lynn (Adam) Senoraske, Susie (Bill) Heiting and many nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by two siblings, brother Danny Sulzer and sister Cindy Harrison; two brother in laws, Urban Pecher and Edward Klein, sister-in-law Betty Sulzer.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Aspirus Wausau Hospital ICU, E.R., and paramedic staff for the opportunity of his family to say Goodbye and all of their support and care they gave Ron and family in the time of his care.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m.- 12:45 p.m. Friday April 11, 2025, at John J Buettgen Memorial Funeral Home 900 Old Hwy 51 Mosinee, WI. Eulogy will be given at 12:45pm. Ron will be buried at a later date.
