Rose M (Marie) Epp passed away at home, Saturday, October 19, 2019. She was born on July 15, 1955, in Bakersfield, California, daughter of the late Louie Epp and Bernice (Smith) Covick. She graduated from Hylandale Academy in 1973. Rose worked as a waitress in Tomah, in the electronics department at Walmart, and as a merchandiser for Handleman. After moving from Tomah to Adams county, Rose worked as a sales representative for Acosta, as a bus driver for the Adam-Friendship school district, and as a non-emergency medical transport driver for Abby Van.  Rose loved to bowl and was on a bowling league in her younger adult years. She enjoyed doing crafts, such as painting ceramics and visiting fabric stores with her sister Dorothy. Rose liked to play scrabble and to go miniature golfing with friends and family. She loved to take vacations, especially to Florida and California and liked to spend time at the beach and visiting the giant redwoods.  She loved gardening and planting roses and other flowers outside her home.  Rose was a kind, caring, and compassionate person. She was a wonderful woman that showed unconditional love towards her family and friends. Rose was very intelligent and had a witty sense of humor that made others laugh. She is greatly missed.    Survivors include her sons, Bryan Maulsby of Oakdale, Brent Maulsby of MN, and her daughter Stacy Taylor of Wisconsin Rapids, grandchildren include Courtney of WI, and Allison and Dalton of New Lisbon, and great-granddaughter Alexandria of WI. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Dorothy Tess of Almond, Robert Epp of CA, Donald Epp of CA, David Covick of CA, and Susan Covick of CA. Surviving former husbands include Douglas Maulsby of Oakdale, James Taylor of Tomah, and Kevin Hazel of WI.   Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the Heartland Hospice staff and the members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. A visitation will be held at 10:00 am and a memorial service at 11:00 am on November 3rd at the Wisconsin Rapids Seventh-day Adventist Church at 611 24th Street North, Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54494.
