Sally Ann Schoessow, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, aunt, great aunt, great-great aunt, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law, passed away peacefully at home on March 19, 2025, at the age of 93, surrounded by her loving family and her cherished cat, Snickerz. Born March 20, 1931, to Harold and Delores Fosbender, Sally lived a long and fulfilling life marked by unwavering love for her family and a gentle spirit.

Sally's life was enriched by two marriages. She was first married to Marvin James, with whom she raised three children. Later, on August 4, 1984, she married Karl Schoessow Sr., the love of her life, who predeceased her. She cherished her large and extended family, always finding joy in time spent with her loved ones.

Sally is survived by her children Shirley (Terry) Tabaka Sr., Alan (Donna) James, Arllein James, Karen (Marty) Sutter, Sharon Gibson, Karl Jr (Sandy) Schoessow, and daughter-in-law Sandy James; sister-in-law Shirley Fosbender; ten grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; one nephew; great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Dolores Fosbender; her husbands, Marvin James and Karl Schoessow Sr.; one brother; two children; one grandson; one great-granddaughter; and one niece.

Sally's kind heart and warm personality will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love and family will continue to shine brightly through the generations she leaves behind. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025, with visitation from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11:30 a.m.

Burial will follow on Monday, March 31, 2025, at Restlawn Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
