Susan "Susie" Evelyn Kurth

Susan Evelyn Kurth, 89, died Friday, January 24, 2025.

Susan was born May 7, 1935, in Wausau, Wisconsin to Evelyn and Gilbert Storm.

On January 24, 1953, Susan was united in marriage to Herbert Kurth. They were blessed with three beautiful children: Lorrie, Cindy and Tammy.

Following the passing of her husband, Susan enjoyed the company of Ronald "Butch" Kuether. They enjoyed each other's company for several years before his passing.

She enjoyed many hobbies over the time of her life. Susan was a green thumb and maintained a beautiful garden. She was very creative and loved her arts and crafts. Susan was a phenomenal cook, with many great recipes. She liked to spend time gambling at the casino with friends and her daughter Lorrie.

Susan is survived by her children, Lorrie (John) Novotny, Cindy (Ron) Floyd, and Tammy (Tyler) Coddington. Survived by her siblings; Fay (Jeff) Wadzinski, David (Katie) Storm, Mary (Jerry) Marquardt. Survived by her grandchildren; Jessie Schroeder (special friend Mike), Brad Ryan, Heather (Brian) Bouton, Amie (Mike) Brown, MaKayla (Christian) Van Hammond and Hannah (Alex) Coddington. Survived by her great-grandchildren; Tucker (special friend Esperansa), Trevor, Taylen, Lexie, Emmett and Ella.

She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert and her special friend Ronald "Butch" Kuether. As well as her parents; Evelyn and Gilbert, siblings; Jenny, Joan, Gene, and Lee; and great-grandchild; Exavier.

Susan was devoted to her family and cherished every memory made with her children, grandchildren and family. She will be dearly missed but not forgotten.

Visitation will be held Sunday, February 2nd at 10 a.m. at John J. Buettgen Funeral Home in Schofield, Wisconsin. Funeral services will be held the same day at noon.
