Terri Sue Jensen (Treptow), age 53 took her last breath on August 3rd, 2020 surrounded by her family at home (710 7th Street, Mosinee) after a three-month courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer.   A casual celebration of life will be held Sunday, August 9th at 2:00 p.m. at the Mosinee City Garage Field (near the cemetery) under a tent.  Conversations and connections will follow the service.  In honor of Terri's wish of "keeping things simple", flip flops and shorts are welcome.  Please wear PURPLE! Terri Sue Jensen (Treptow) was born June 6th, 1967 in Wausau, WI, daughter of Robert and Margaret Grieser (Treptow). She graduated Mosinee High School in 1985 and later graduated UW-Stevens Point in 1991. Terri met the love of her life, Greg Jensen while working for Charter and they were married on September 6th, 2008. Terri and Greg both spent years working for Mosinee school district where they touched the lives of so many youth. Terri was then employed by Hermening Financial Group who have been incredibly supportive of Terri and Greg through this difficult journey.   Terri is survived by her husband, Greg Jensen, her mother Margaret Grieser, her siblings Rebecca Lowman, and Robert Treptow (Felecity).  She also has three nieces and one nephew who meant the world to her, Brittany Bradfish (Treptow), Chase Treptow, Sydney Lowman, and Addison Lowman.  Through marriage Terri was gifted additional family, whom she loved tremendously.  This included Greg's parents Betty and Jack Jensen.  Greg's children Tim (Tanya) Jensen and Isaac Jensen.  Greg and Terri's grandchildren, Claire and Kate, lit up their lives.  She also gained a sister-in-law, Debbie Richardson (Jensen) and a brother-in-law Steve Jensen (Jennifer). Terri was preceded in death by her father, Robert A. Treptow and her grandparents.   Terri enjoyed the simple moments in life, like having a fire on the patio with her husband and cats while listening to the sounds of a small town- birds chirping, church bells, trains, cheers of the little league games and neighborhood chatter.  Terri loved music and it inspired her life, made her laugh, and gave her hope.  Terri was an amazing hostess who loved making the traditional Christmas Eve meatball dinner and Mother's Day gatherings special for all of us each year.  Terri's biggest passion was supporting other people and that was evident in all she did from loving her husband, serving alongside Pastor Joe Carlson with the church youth group, volunteering for Hospice House and being there for so many others in times of need.   Terri would want to be remembered as a woman of faith, loving wife, supportive family member and loving friend to everyone who knew her.   We are jealous of the angel that heaven has gained and will miss Terri's beautiful smile and contagious laugh every day.   Our family is beyond thankful for the community support you have shown us during this difficult journey.  You provided glimpses of light in a very dark time.  We will never forget the unique ways you shared your gifts of support and wrapped your arms around Terri to support her. In lieu of flowers to continue Terri's legacy of impacting the lives of youth she has asked that you financially support two of her biggest passions in life:  youth missions with Pastor Joe Carlson at Bethany Church and Mosinee athletics.  Bethany Church/Youth Mission donations can be mailed to Bethany Church c/o Terri Jensen, 6601 Alderson Street, Schofield, WI  54476.  Mosinee athletic gifts will be divided to provide scholarships for youth in need by her husband Greg.
