Todd Alan Kurth, age 62 passed away on September 26, 2024.

He was born on July 12, 1962 to Dale L. and Annabelle (Schade) Kurth at St. Mary's Hospital in Wausau, WI.

As a baby, Todd slept in the bassinet next to Grandma Viola Kurth's cook stove. Grandpa Ed was Todd's pride and joy. They spent countless days together down by Trapp River. Grandpa Ed taught him to fish, hunt and trap.

Todd was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter Lutheran Church in the Town of Texas.

He attended Hewitt Texas School and graduated from East High School in Wausau.

Fuzzy and Mousie, his favorite cats brought him much enjoyment.

Todd helped his dad build a house on the farm. He was a construction worker at Wendorf's Construction and various other construction companies.

His greatest enjoyment was fishing, hunting and trapping.

Bringing flowers to his mom was a joy he had and it always made her happy.

Todd is survived by his mother, Annabelle, sister Lori (Dan Mickoleski), brothers Jeff and Jon of Wausau, Scott of Tomahawk, sister Connie Bredesen, Madison. He is further survived by Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews and Cousins. He is also survived by his long time girlfriend, Gerry Seidler.

Todd was preceded in death by his father Dale Kurth and grandparents Ed and Viola Kurth.

A Celebration of Life service for Todd will be on Friday, October 18, 2024 at John J Buettgen Funeral Home beginning with a visitation at 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. with a prayer service following at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place following the service at Pine Grove Cemetery.
