Victor Joseph Siekierzynski, 80, of Schofield, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2019, under the care of Interim HealthCare Hospice at Tender Reflections Assisted Living in Weston.
He was born March 25, 1939, to the late Kasmir and Anna (Zielica) Siekierznski. He is preceded in death by a sister, Genevieve J. Glatczak. He is survived by his wife, Georjean; daughter, Sally (Doug) Braun; granddaughter, Cortney (Jason) Wadzinski; grandson, Isaak Tauer; brothers, Edwin (Charlotte) Siekierzynski, Joe (Lorraine) Barnett, Henry Siekierzynski, Adam (Marlene) Siekierzynski; and sister, Irene Kuckuczka.
He married the love of his life, Georjean H. Bargender, on August 30, 1961. Victor had talents in many skilled trades working in welding, construction, ready-mix concrete, sand and gravel trucking, logging and firewood sales, and window manufacturing. Victor enjoyed participating in recreational activities from competing in chainsaw competitions to snowmobile racing, four-wheeling, plowing snow, and boating. Victor's most recent passion was fishing and this suited him well because he was always one to tell a good "fish" story. We will miss his animated stories, his mischievous smile and his love for kids.
A service of remembrance in celebration of Victor's life will be held Wednesday, July 31, 2019, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., at John J. Buettgen Funeral Home in Schofield. Online condolences can be made at
