What to expect when we meet
WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN WE MEET
When you come in, we'll start by walking you through our pricing so there are no surprises. Then we'll ask you to tell us about your loved one — who they were, what mattered to them, how they'd want to be remembered. That conversation shapes everything that follows.
Together we'll work through:
• Filing the death certificate
• Scheduling the service — location, date, and time
• Selecting a casket, urn, or other items
• Drafting an obituary
• Arranging transportation
• Selecting pallbearers
To help us get started, bring what you can of the following:
• Full legal name and address
• Social Security number
• Date and place of birth
• Parents' names (including mother's maiden name)
• Veteran's discharge papers (DD-214), if applicable
• Education and occupation
• Burial location information, if applicable
• Clergy name and contact, if applicable
• Names and relationships of survivors
• Life insurance information, if applicable
Also bring a recent photograph and any clothing you'd like us to use. Those two things matter more than most people expect.
